A1 beginners & B permit
A1 beginners & B permit
Everyone needs a strong A1 base.
How we build it depends on how you learn best and what you need it for.

A1 German – Personalization
For beginners who want to build confident, usable German for daily life in Switzerland.
What you will get:

Build your German foundation:
learn grammar and sentence structures that actually work in everyday life.

Overcome beginner fears:
no more freezing when someone talks to you in German, or feeling lost at the supermarket checkout.

Learn naturally, your way:
conversation and fun-heavy lessons, memory tricks, visual grammar aids, and practical podcasts for learning on the go.

Handle real-life situations confidently:
book appointments, go shopping, visit the doctor—without panicking.
Decode Swiss German around you:
know how to respond to greetings and farewells from neighbours or colleagues.
Master essential vocabulary:
you will be able to use words and phrases for all everyday topics—you’ll be armed for any situation.

Step-by-step progress:
complete A1.1 (16 weeks) and A1.2 (16 weeks) so you build language skills that last.
Phone calls? No sweat:
understand what’s being asked and respond appropriately (even if you still say “Moment bitte” a lot).
What you will get:
Clear exam focus:
practical tips, strategies, and insider guidance from certified examiners who know the exam inside out.
No wasted time on things that don’t matter.

Strong spoken German by default:
maximum speaking practice in every lesson and at German-speaking events.
Our students don’t fear the oral exam — it’s usually their strongest part.

Continuous support and personalised feedback:
you’re always guided, corrected, supported and fully aware of your progress.

Structured preparation aligned with real exam tasks:
exam-style exercises, mock exams, and clear expectations — so you know exactly what’s coming.
Solid A1 foundation:
grammar, vocabulary, and structures you actually need — nothing random, nothing missing.
Right exam, first time:
we help you choose the correct exam for your goal, assess your current level if you’ve studied before, identify gaps, and bridge them during the course—so you don’t waste time, money, or exam attempts.

A1 German – Exam Preparation
This course takes the pressure off and leads you straight to your result—whether you’ve studied German before or are just starting. We don’t just teach German. We guide you through the exam, step by step.
How much preparation do you usually need?
This is determined individually during our discovery call.
For the oral exam (speaking & listening), one 16-week course is usually sufficient.
If you need preparation for all four skills, we recommend two 16-week programmes for a confident, well-rounded result.
