Terms and Conditions for Plunge Language Courses (Einzelunternehmen Olga Kravchenko)
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Olga Kravchenko Einzelunternehmen, trading as Plunge – Language Courses (“Plunge”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and any person (“Student”, “Client”, or “you”) who registers for or attends a course or event offered by Plunge – Language Courses.
By clicking “Accept Terms”, submitting your personal data, or paying a deposit or course fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Formation of Agreement
1.1. By accepting these Terms and Conditions and submitting your details in the consent form below, you indicate your intent to participate in one or more of our services and to enter into an agreement with Plunge – Language Courses.
1.2. Upon receiving your request, Plunge will review your registration details. You have 48 hours from the time of submission to withdraw your request by sending an email to hello@plunge-languages.ch.
1.3. If you do not withdraw your request within 48 hours, you will automatically receive a personalised Agreement by email. This Agreement includes your personal details as provided in the registration form and incorporates these same Terms and Conditions in full.
1.4. From the moment this personalised Agreement is sent to you, a Legally Binding Agreement is formed between you and Plunge – Language Courses. You officially become a registered student of Plunge – Language Courses and are bound by all terms and payment obligations described below. No additional signature is required.
2. Course Types
These Terms apply to all course formats offered by Plunge – Language Courses:

Online group courses

In-person group courses

Online individual lessons

In-person individual lessons
Event participation (language speaking practice events) is governed by separate Terms and Conditions available at the time of booking each event.
3. Individual Courses
Face-to-Face Lessons:
-
Lessons take place at an agreed location.
-
Lessons are scheduled in advance, either as part of a pre-agreed timetable or individually during the course.

Each lesson is assigned at least 24 hours prior to its scheduled time.

Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.

Additional materials, textbooks, and delivery costs are paid separately by the student and included in the invoice if purchased through Plunge.
Online Lessons:

Lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet. The student is responsible for having a stable internet connection and functional equipment.

Lessons are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours before the lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full, except that Premium+ online lessons allow one lesson per month to be cancelled less than 24 hours in advance without charge.

Additional materials, textbooks, and delivery costs are paid separately and included in the invoice if purchased through Plunge.
Payment and Lesson Fees:

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the student agrees to pay for individual lessons at the rates listed on the website, which are confirmed by Plunge or as negotiated with Plunge and confirmed in writing.

If the individual course involves specific requests, the cost may differ, and Plunge will inform the student of any adjusted fees in advance.

Individual lessons are invoiced monthly based on the number of lessons conducted in the calendar month. Invoices must be paid by the due date and can be settled via bank transfer or credit card via payment link provided on the website.
Late Payment & Reminders:

First Reminder: Sent by email and post; no fee. 5-day grace period.

Second Reminder: CHF 20 late fee applies. Additional 5-day grace period.

Third Reminder: CHF 30 late fee applies. Further 5-day grace period.

If no payment is received after the third reminder, we will initiate debt enforcement procedures, including all late fees and 10% annual interest calculated from the original due date. We reserve the right to claim further damages.
4. Group Courses
Registration:

You are considered registered for a course once you receive personalised Agreement with these Terms and Conditions from Plunge or when you book your spot on our website by paying a deposit.

By registering, you agree to pay the full course fee as invoiced. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation and does not release you from the obligation to pay.
Payment:
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the student agrees to pay for the group lessons at the rates listed on the website, which are confirmed by Plunge or as negotiated with Plunge and confirmed in writing.

Course fees must be paid according to the agreed payment option (monthly or full payment).

A deposit may be paid to secure your place 30 days or more before the course starts.

Full payment is required at least 10 days before the course starts.
-
Certain courses may offer discounts for full advance payment, as indicated in the course description.

Course fees include the lessons according to the program described on the course page, textbooks and their delivery, all necessary materials, digital resources, and participation in four events during the course.

If some events cannot be organized during the course, they may be used after the course ends.

Participants in group courses receive a promo code for 100% off event tickets, which is non-transferable.
Cancellation and Withdrawal:
-
Cancellation up to 30 days before the course start results in a full refund of any payment paid.
-
Cancellation less than 30 days before the course: the first month of the course is payable (remaining fees are refunded if paid).

Withdrawal after the course has started: during the first month, the first month is charged; refunds of the remaining amount are possible only with written notice at least 15 days before the end of the first month.

After this period, no refunds are issued.

In cases of documented medical emergencies, refunds are considered individually.

Refunds will be processed within 20 working days of approval.
Missed Classes:

Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

In the event that the assigned teacher is unavailable, a substitute teacher will be provided where possible. If no substitute is available, the class will be rescheduled, and participants will be notified in advance.
Course Content and Schedule Changes:

Plunge may change the assigned teacher or course content. Participants will be notified of any changes in advance.

Any schedule changes are communicated ahead of time.
-
Classes may only be rescheduled with the agreement of all participants and at least 24 hours’ notice.
Events:
-
Event tickets for students in group courses must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start.
Recording of Classes:
-
Classes may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes. Participants can view the recordings.

If you do not want your class to be recorded, you must send a written request to our email.
-
Recordings are not used for marketing purposes without your written consent.
Adjustments to Services and Scheduling:

We reserve the right to adjust the content, schedule, or teachers for any course or event. Participants will be notified immediately if there are any changes.
5. Hybrid or personalized courses
Plunge offers combinations of face-to-face and online, group and individual courses and other personalized learning solutions to meet the needs of our clients. If you choose a personalized or a hybrid course and its availability is confirmed by Plunge - the terms and conditions for each component of the personalized offer are as outlined in this document.
6. Privacy and Data Protection

All personal data provided to Plunge remains confidential and is not shared with third parties.

Students may request the deletion of any personal data by sending a written request to hello@plunge-languages.ch.

Plunge complies with Swiss data protection norms regarding the collection, storage, and processing of personal data.
7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, digital resources, and any additional materials developed by Plunge are the intellectual property of Plunge.

These materials are not to be copied, shared, distributed, or used by any other party without written consent from Plunge.
8. General Terms

All communications, including cancellations and rescheduling, must be sent in writing via email to hello@plunge-languages.ch.

If the cost of your group or individual course is subject to a personal discount, the discounted rate will be stated in the agreement.

Students are expected to follow course rules and show respect to teachers and other participants.
-
Swiss law applies to all disputes arising from participation in courses.
