This course helps you build on what you’ve learned and move toward real-life fluency and A1 exam success – all with the flexibility and support you need as an expat in Switzerland. We focus on practical communication and everyday situations – from shopping and appointments to casual conversations – so you can use your German with confidence as soon as you leave the classroom. We also include bits of Swiss German at our complimentary online Swiss German workshops to help you better understand how the language sounds in real life. You’ll be learning in a small group (max. 6 participants), with a highly personalized approach. Whether you want to prepare for a specific exam, improve your speaking, or finally master tricky grammar points – your lessons will be adapted to fit your goals, interests, and preferred learning style. Need to prepare for an A1 exam (FIDE, SDS, telc, Goethe)? No problem. Thanks to our small group size, we can integrate exam-focused activities into your lessons if this is part of your goal. Course structure: - Max. 6 participants - 4 months (16 weeks), 32 lessons (covers the second half of A1) - 90-minute lessons, twice a week - Personalized materials and progress tracking - Our unique vocabulary flashcards (physical and digital) - Complimentary access to our in-person German-speaking events in Zürich and Zug - Complimentary Swiss German workshops By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident using German in everyday life and be fully prepared to pass your A1 exam – with the tools, feedback, and motivation to keep going. Course Schedule & Location This course takes place online on Tue/Thu 9.30-11.00.
