A2.2 German Course

Service Description

Speak More Freely, Understand More, and Feel at Home At this level, you're no longer just getting by – you're starting to engage. This course is designed to help you bridge the gap between simple conversations and more natural, confident communication in everyday situations. With a strong focus on speaking, listening, and practical grammar, we’ll help you expand your vocabulary and fine-tune your understanding – so you can express yourself more precisely and respond with ease in real conversations. You’ll be learning in a small group (max. 5 participants) but following a fully personalized path, based on your goals, topics that matter to you, and the formats you enjoy most (e.g. podcasts, videos, games, writing, or everyday dialogues). We also include a regular sprinkle of Swiss German at our complimentary workshops, helping you connect what you learn in class to the language you hear in shops, cafés, and everyday life. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference in how at home you feel in Switzerland. To support your progress between lessons, you’ll receive physical and digital flashcards with curated vocabulary, as well as engaging tasks based on your interests – making practice easier, more enjoyable, and more relevant. Need exam preparation (e.g. for FIDE, SDS, telc or Goethe)? Since our groups are small and flexible, we can include targeted exam practice in the course if this is one of your goals. Course structure: - Max. 5 participants - 4 months (16 weeks), 32 lessons (covers the second half of A2) - 90-minute lessons, twice a week - Personalized materials and vocabulary flashcards - Complimentary access to German-speaking practice events in Zürich and Zug - Complimentary Swiss German workshops (online) By the end of the course, you’ll feel more fluent and more at ease navigating daily life – whether you're arranging appointments, responding to unexpected questions, or joining casual conversations without hesitation. Course Schedule & Location This course takes place online on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 10:30.
